today in class we were doing Inquiry.
we were making tote bags to help the environment from plastic bags.
also the animals in the oceans.

we were learning how sew.
also use Irons.

The steps of making a bag are

1. Find the fabric you like.
2. Cut into the shape of a bag(with no handles)
3. Sew round the edge of the fabric with the good sides facing each other with one side not sewin 
4. Then fold the top down
5. Then iorn it.
6. Then sew round don't sew the two sides together
7. and do step 5 and 6.
8. then sew the handles on the bag.

I liked making the bags because I learn't lots.
I liked sewing on the machines.
It chaged my thinking how good plastic is for the enviorment and how fun it is to make bags.
I hope our bags changed the envoriment.

This is my reading slide show about my book sunken forest.
 The book is written by Des hunt.
Des hunt is a New Zealand writer.
In my slide show we had to write our favourite parts.
We also had write about the start middle and finish.
we had to make something on tinker cad I made a tent.
I liked how matt was feeding elsa the eel
I learn't some facts in the book like that there are trees that are over 2,000 years.

This is my slide about when I went on my holiday.
We went to a lot of places.   We went away for 6 weeks.
I created my slideshow as I went on my holiday.
My favourite place was Hollywood because we saw the sigh
and because of all the lights and Chinese Theatre because with of its all of the hand prints and foot prints in the ground of famous actors and actress.

my camp experiance

Hello Blogging world

On week 4 the year 5&6 went to camp at Mr Ruapehu. We stayed at The Park [our hotel] we had our own rooms we had room 45  my people in my room were Joshua and Isaiah.

My group pink came 1st In the Hamilton Gardens we had to find all the sculptures.

When we went to Mt Ruepahu on the first day I went to Happy valley but it was way too easy so the next day Me and some others went up to Rock Gardens. Max,Benson and I would be going down areas where not as much people went, but we fell over sometimes. Our bus trip took for ever!! We stopped at The Hamilton gardens first Then Otorohanga walkway and we went to a school And then at the Hotel.

I found challenging waiting for everyone to learn because I had some experiance.

My suscees were I learnt to stop and turn better

Ako Hiko Student toolkits

At school today 23 people and I went to New Windsor school for the student toolkits.
The student toolkit was a time for some student presenters to present to other students some workshops.They told us about what we are doing and we also did some coding and problem solving stuff. The aquarium for the coding the teacher had to pick 2 people for it Mr Riceman picked Max and Lily they had to drive some Speros then the teachers tried it.Then we went to our workshops. After that there was a problem solving challenge our team came second and was the most creative.They had 20 straws, a roll of masking tape and scissors. They had to fit a cup in somewhere in the model and in the cup must be 100 grams.
I did tinker cad and prodigy.

I made a scooter I also looked at some ideas on the gallery
here is the final product.

Prodigy

Prodigy is a maths game and we learnt how to use but i already had an account and I was level 40 and we played some prodigy for about half a hour.

I learnt most about tinker cad because before I wasn't as good before and that was my best product I have ever made. but there was a bad thing there it took for ever to log in to the wi-fi when we loged  in we finally started tinker cad. But prodigy was fine. We also had to make a slideshow to try out to present. Here is our slideshow.

Matariki facts

This is Sams and mine Matariki facts. In class we were doing some work around Matariki.

We had made some stars out of card then we got a piece of paper and wrote 1 or 2 facts on it.

Then we attached the paper to the star with string then we would glue them to a  black piece of paper.

Me and Sam shared a document and then wrote lots of facts on it to copy on to the Piece of paper

hi guys at school we are doing skateboarding so I had to make a animation for an Assembly.
It took a couple of days to make and I finished with 533 slides.
but it was worth it I did most of it at home.
I learnt howto change colours of images and a lot of short cuts.

The Tooth

In Room 9 we read the book called The Tooth.

Anzac day experince

This is my Anzac Day Experience! We were asked to write what we did with our family's. 

ANZAC-DAY

I woke to see the glinting in my room, it was dawn.

On Tuesday morning I woke and I knew it was ANZAC day

again. I got out of bed and put my uniform on and had breakfast and then brushed my hair and gelled it and put on my shoes and got ready to hop in the car.

when we got to may road park, there were no car parks left so we drove up the closest side street and found no park, so we went to the next one and there was one park left! so we hurried to it.

then we hopped out of the car and walked to the park I went to my scout group and waited to start marching. my scout leader had a wreath and she gave us little poppies to pin to our shirts.

Then we began to march. “ so this is what marching is like!”  I muttered to myself.  I Wondered what it would be like?

 when I got there we sang the national anthem and Laid the wreath and did the last post etc etc. Then we had finished.

We walked over to where all of the wreaths were and had a photo and then we went home.

THE END.

This is my Anzac Day Experience! We were asked to write what we did with our family's. 
I think that it was harder than I thought because I could not remember as much because it was in the holidays and we did it on Wednesday so I had to wait a week and a half before I wrote about it.

Trench Diary

MY TRENCH DIARY

WALT describe using our senses

	I can see gun,shells it is so horrible.I can see Rats the size of cats and the rats eat all of our food it’s just so horrible. I can see the dark air all of the barbed wire and mud in no man's land. And the dark clouds.
	I can not hear anything because the guns are deafening are making noises so I can hardly hear anything but I can the voices of the men that are in so much pain.
	I can taste mold and dirt from the biscuits and cakes that have been sent to me and the food that the army prepared for us taste not that bad but I still hate it.
	I can smell the mud and blood. The is like being in gas but it is not killing you. I can smell the gunpowder.  I Can smell all of the moldy food as the rats eat it.
	I can feel my rifle as I grip in my hands. It feels so smooth and as I grip my pen I still can't believe that there is still ink in it.
	The only thing that I like is the fact that I can see my friends but I like nothing else because it's just so bad here I regret coming here.
	I am thinking of home where it is so  wonderful and peaceful. But here it's just the apposite

This Is my trench diary.
We did this because it was near ANZAC day.
We had to make our self feel like we were at war it was not that hard.
